Product policy/terms of sale:

Our returns / exchange policy is standard for most hair extensions companies with no special conditions attached, so you can focus on enjoying your new long hair.  Should you wish to return your hair extensions for any reason we make the exchange process hassle-free, quick and easy.

At Pure we ensure each and every package is double checked and each order is video recorded, while being selected, packaged and addressed to ensure the colour, quantity, length and attachment type is guaranteed correct each and every time. 

If you happen to receive your order and decide you would like something different, we are more than happy to exchange it or provide a credit note so you can choose something different. 

We accept exchanges for unwanted, unused hair extensions and accessories eg colour rings, micro-beads etc with written notification within 7 days upon receipt and returned within 30 days and will provide a store credit. 

Returns must be authorised prior to return to us.  Please email us at puretapeservice@gmail.com with the reason you would like to return your item(s) and the colour, length, type of change you require.  We can assist you with picking the right products to suit you.

Shipping:

All express orders are shipped using Australia post express post satchels with automatic tracking details sent to you via your nominated email account.

We generally send orders on the day you make your order, if the order is finalised prior to 1pm (AEST) Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.  Normally you should receive your package 1-2 business days after its been sent.

International orders are generally dispatched within 1-2 business days, some orders depending on whether they are custom / special orders may take longer to dispatch.

The buyer is responsible for any customs / import fees.  If a package is returned due to the customer not paying the duties / taxes on their item (s) we will issue an exchange voucher for the product price which can be used within 30 days. 

We do not take any responsibility for shipping delays outside of our control such as the impact of weather, postal service delays, flights, customs etc.  

Delivery address should be the same as your Paypal, Afterpay, or Zippay address.

We provide automatic tracking on receipt of payment for all orders posted within Australia Express Post and International / Express Registered Post.

Although we provide the expected delivery times for each service, we will not be held responsible for delays due to public holidays. 

We do not refund or exchange on packages that show a delivered notification via Australia Post online notifications. If an item is marked as delivered, we will not re-send or refund the product under any circumstances. All delivered tracking updates are final. Please note: Once your parcel is marked as delivered, it is out of our hands and we are no longer responsible or liable you receiving your parcel.

In the unlikely event delivery of a package be disputed by the customer we may be able to assist by reaching out to Australia post to ascertain if any compensation will be provided by A/U Post at their discretion.

Additional insurance.  We use Australia Post to deliver all packages within Australia. It is unlikely a package will get lost by Australia Post and will not be delivered.  Despite this being an exceptionally rare occurrence, If you believe there is any risk to the succesful delivery of your package, due to your location, security or otherwise, it is your responsibility to request additional insurance be added to your package.  Please contact us prior to paying for your order so we can add this at your request. Additional costs apply.

Colour, length, quantity or thickness: 

We allow exchanges for unused and unaltered hair extensions with the original bindings intact if the colour, quantity and style you selected is not right. 

Now and then we may upgrade your length to slightly longer (up to 2 inches) if stock is not available in the shorter option.  This is an added bonus and welcomed among virtually all stylists due to the freedom it allows for blending and of course because the longer lengths are more expensive.

Batches can vary slightly.  If you receive one set slightly different to your usual shade we can exchange if need be.

We endeavour to process all exchanges within 2 days of receipt of return or within 7 days if item is unavailable or out of stock upon receipt of the returned item.

Quality:

Hair quality at Pure Tape Hair Extensions is of a high quality nature and can last for an extended period of time with the correct care.

Everyone’s lifestyle, sleeping, personal care and product care habits vary so the more care provided to the extensions the longer it will last.  

Dark colours may out-live lighter shades due to the lightening process just like your own hair.

All our hair is of the highest quality so you can be assured of superior quality.

It must be noted all hair is from a different doner every time so a slight variant in texture/colour may be present at times.

Once a product has had the bindings removed or been used, tampered with or applied to the new wearer we do not accept returns (like all other hair extensions companies in the world) however in the extremely unlikely event there is a fault with the item it should be brought to our attention prior to removal of the gold/silver ties and before application to the new wearer for us to investigate.

We love to give our customers the full assurance of the item they are buying due to our quality control systems from beginning to end.  

1. Ensuring all our raw ponytails are hand selected and throughly examined by hand to ensure the hair is in superior healthy condition.  

2. We check the hair cuticles are running in the correct position where the roots and ends face correctly to ensure the hair stays smooth and soft and does not tangle.  We check every stage of the dying and application of bonding and finally we inspect the end product for all factors necessary to ensure the product is the longest lasting most beautiful hair on the market.

3. All products are dispatched in perfect condition, therefore any alteration and/or application and use of the hair extensions is deemed acceptance of the style quality, quantity, colour and length.

All orders are double checked and are videoed when packed to substantiate the correctness of quantity, length, colour and style.

You may "test" the product by washing a small section of the hair to ensure you are satisfied with the product.

Please do not wet the tapes. You can also straighten/curl a small section to test heat application.  

Colours may be updated periodically to ensure accuracy.

In the unexpected event the wrong item is sent or the item is proven faulty by our our technicians examination we will grant a refund. 

Quantity:

All orders are double checked to ensure the quantity is correct.  If you are unsure as to whether you have received the correct amount, you can easily view the hair through the clear sealed package to confirm.  Each bundle of tape hair extensions are in multiples of 20 pcs, micro bead and i tip bundles in multiples of 50, clip in and wefts are in one bundle. 

If you are still unsure, please take a photo prior to opening or tampering with the your package which is sealed and send it to us within 14 days of receiving your hair.  Any opened and re-sealed packages will be easily noted.

Any disputed quantities must be confirmed via the above procedures, with photographic or video evidence prior to tampering or oppening the packaging.

Application:

After you have had extensions applied, please do not wash your hair for at least 24-48 hours.

This allows the bonds to fully harden. The longer you wait, the better it is for the longevity of the bonds. If you wash too soon, you may break down the bonds in their early stages and they may not last as long. Regular washing of your hair should be only once every other day or every two days. If you have a problem with oily hair, try patting a small amount of baby powder on your roots or dry shampoo.

Hair will not generally get dirty, the general purpose of shampooing your hair is to wash the oil from your scalp and roots, so concentrate the shampoo to the area and not the mid-lengths and ends as doing so will simply strip and dry out your hair extensions. Be sure to used plenty of conditioner on your mid lengths and ends. Muk, Pantene, Red-kin work well as most moisturising shampoo conditioners.

Long hair extensions generally require a leave-in treatment and oil such as Moroccan oil.

Wavy hair extensions varieties are curled using heat, this adds an extra process to the hair and can mean the hair extensions may be dryer and may not last as long.  The wave is temporary and will drop out over time.  Once the hair is straightened the wave will not be as pronounced however it can easily be curled to create body and texture again.  The wavy variety are designed to be worn wavy, so curling and setting the hair with mousse or setting spray will create the look again.

Long hair extensions generally require a leave in treatment and oil such as Moroccan oil.

Blonde wavy balayage / Ombre will generally feel naturally dyer towards the ends due to the lightening from very dark to very light (bleached) colour.  Human hair extensions just like our own hair will unavoidably undergo some damage during this procedure of curling and colouring so please keep this in mind.  

We recommend a good quality heat Protectant, a good leave in and treatment once a week. These help to keep your extensions in top shape. When conditioning your hair, try to keep the conditioner away from the bonds. Conditioner on or too near to the bonds may cause them to loosen and slip. Be extra careful with wet hair. After showering (make sure not to use hot water), you can blow dry your hair but try not to put any direct heat on the bonds. You may swim as usual but remember that prolonged water exposure may weaken the bonds. Make sure to dry roots as quickly as possible.

Be sure to place hair in a braid when swimming, or use a cap to avoid tangling. When brushing your hair use extreme care. Always hold hair in a ponytail while brushing out the ends (which may be done with a regular brush). For the rest of your hair, hold one hand firmly against your scalp while brushing. Doing this will ensure less shedding and loosing of hair extensions.

Hair extensions are attached to your own natural hair, pulling too hard or mistreating your extensions can result in your own hair being pulled out.  All our extensions are 100% human Remy hair so you may use straighteners, curling irons, or any type of hot tools on your extensions that you would normally use on your real hair.

If your extensions were put in using fusion, use caution around the bonds of your extensions, they melt easily.

Do not to run a flat iron or curling iron over the bonds as it may cause the bonds to soften or melt and result in the extensions hair to come out.

Dying hair extensions is possible to a darker shade. Hair extensions should not be lightened although generally, you may use a semi colour to darken, your hair extensions. Any coloring of the extensions are done so at your own risk and we do not take responsibility for the outcome.  Sleeping in a loose or braid helps to avoid any tangling from occurring the night and makes your daily hair return much easier.

It is important to keep an eye on your hair daily and make sure you do not get any knots in your hair.  Proper bushing will stop knots from starting.

If you ever do find a knot it is important to get it out as soon as possible before it becomes a problem.

Our colour chart is a guide only and due to differences in screen resolution may result in a slightly different shade.

We generally recommend requesting photos of the hair if an exact match is imperative, however, photos can also vary depending not lighting.

We sell physical colour rings, which ensure an exact match can be ascertained. Due to our constant efforts to ensure customer satisfaction, we do occasionally adjust our colours should we receive a request for certain characteristics of colour or texture.  We reserve the right to update and adjust our products, terms and conditions as required to improve our product.

Should a colour no longer be available or if a significant colour change is applied, we will inform our salons/customers who hold a physical colour ring.

By purchasing or having hair extensions applied from this site or from us in person you understand and accept the following conditions as the purchaser/ wearer.

You have viewed and evaluated the quality of the hair, the quantity, application method and the cost and decided that it is right decision for your situation.

Hair extensions are a commitment and require regular maintenance, and gentle care.

Human hair may be impacted by various things such as styling, straightening, curling, mistreatment, and certain products such as protein treatments, hair dye, bleach and swimming which have an effect on your own hair and therefore on your extensions.

If you require Russian human hair directly from Russia or that collected from Australian Women / Children we can also provide this hair however the cost is much higher.

If you have any method of hair extensions applied by us we will ensure the colour, quantity length, type of extension method and price will be discussed prior to application and applied only upon agreement by you the client.  

If you have any queries regarding the application the colour, quantity, quality, length, comfort of your hair extensions you will raise these concerns prior or during application and before leaving the premises.  

After application of your hair extensions, you are responsible for the care of your hair and your hair extensions at all times. You understand that will not attempt to obtain a refund after your hair extensions are applied and their effect on your hair is your own responsibility.
All hair extensions should be maintained and checked for tangling or matting between the root and the bond every week.  It is your responsibility to ensure your hair extensions are maintained and are not tangling until you see us or your stylist for service being re-application or removal which should be performed every 6-8 weeks.

If you do not have your hair extensions re-applied or removed after 6-8 weeks your hair can become tangled and matted.  We take no responsibility for tangled or matted hair or hair extensions which has not been serviced regularly.

 Please note: these are not hair dressing colour levels they are per our colour chart bring far more extensive.

If you require the exact colour we suggest you order a colour chart prior.

We have a record for extremely high customer satisfaction and an exceptionally low return rate and in an effort to give our customers total peace of mind we give you a full 30 days to check your purchase thoroughly or have it checked by a professional it to ensure you are 100% happy and satisfied with the product before use.

In accordance with standard hygiene regulations and our terms herewith, the return of any Pure Tape Hair Extensions product/s generally will not be accepted should the item show evidence of being tampered with, having the ties or packaging tampered with, removed or damaged or if the product has been used or worn.  All shipping fees to and from us are the responsibility of the customer where a colour / style exchange has been requested.

Returns must be authorised prior to return. After emailed information including order details and any information regarding the issues(s) have been verified by us and has been accepted as being reasonable, true and correct a refund will be issued within 2 business days after collection of the article. A tracking number must be provided once item has been sent back to us.

Toning or colouring hair extensions should only be performed by a professional colourist.  If you wash your hair with a  purple shampoo you must do so with caution as it may "catch' or dry out the hair.

Choose your colours carefully from the Hair Colour Ring. Due to screen resolution – the colour may vary slightly – if unsure you can request a human hair colour ring from us, or we can send you additional pictures of the shade in mind.

Pure Tape Hair Extensions deems application to the new wearer is an acceptance by the purchaser or end user, of the hair quality, hair length, hair quantity, hair type and hair bond method as in accordance to our terms and conditions of sale.

Human hair can be damaged easily by improper care, over-use of toners, styling products, heat, chlorine etc exactly as our own hair can be damaged and for this reason, in the unlikely event it does not meet your quality standards should be returned before it has been used.

We make every effort to provide great quality hair at an affordable price and pride our selves on unprecedented customer satisfaction.

We do not refund for change of mind, however, we are more than happy to exchange your item within 30 days.

If an exchange item is out of stock, it will be re-stocked within the 30 day exchange time period, alternatively we can arrange a different shade / attachment type / length etc.

Refunds /  Exchanges:

All hair extensions are checked prior to dispatch and are sold in perfect new condition as per our product description. 

Prior to removal of the item from the sealed packaging and removal of the bindings which holding the hair together, after inspecting should you encounter a problem please contact us immediately.

The item can be returned which will be assessed by ourselves or our factory for verification, you may exchange the faulty item for a new item of equal value or be refunded in full if it is returned in its original unused state and in its entirety and in its unaltered original packaging. If the item is not faulty and is as described a credit note will be provided for the full purchase price of the unaltered product. 

If a proven fault is noted by ourselves or our factory a refund will be issued if the customer prefers.  

The item selected for exchange or return must be returned in the origional unaltered and unopened packaging and not be been worn or modified and must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date, please return any item with a tracking number (available from Australia Post) as your proof of shipment.

Please note: all our hair extensions are quality tested prior to dispatch which gives us full confidence in the quality and consistency of our products and due to hair extensions being deemed a perishable product, it is extremely difficult to determine whether any issues relating to hair quality or colour was present at the time the item was new, if has already been, modified or used.

Any claim of a fault appearing after use cannot be ascertained as this can result from a multitude of variables including but not limited to: improper care, wear, and tear, dying, toning, shampoo conditioner, product use, curling, straightening, swimming, spa pools (high chlorine) and exposure to the elements.  This also includes doctored photos or videos resulting in dishonest attempts to obtain a refund or exchange.  

We have proof of all our sales records including purchase papers which document the type of hair we buy for all ongoing sales from our long term providers.   This proof to show all hair we purchase (at a premium) is that which we forward for sale can be forwarded to any third party as deemed applicable should a dispute arise.

Any item returned to us must be returned in original new condition with the gold / silver or other bindings attached.  This is also stated clearly on the packaging card enclosed with your hair extensions. 

You are requested to follow a known professional application method and all products are sold under the assumption a fully trained and capable hair extensions technician/hairdresser will undertake the application procedure.

We go to great lengths to carefully pick out all our raw hair based on the natural beauty texture and health of the individual raw cut braid.  

As high supreme high-quality hair becomes increasingly difficult to source we focus on providing you with a superb product at true wholesale prices.  

Occasionally the length of the hair can have a slightly marginal difference of up to an inch and may be slightly longer.

Human hair is not a manufactured product - due to the natural of the product it is perfectly normal to see a few hairs of a slightly different shade mixed through-out, as well as possibly the occasional grey hair.  

Human hair by nature has highlights and low-lights, this means during the colouring process in order not to ensure the hair is not over-processed, it will still contain a little variation in colour and will not be one flat shade.  This will not affect the over the appearance of the hair colour. Only synthetic hair will look completely flat in colour, we do not sell synthetic hair.  

Should the item cost more than the original product purchased the difference can be paid by PayPal to our nominated PayPal account via email confirmation from us.                                                                                                                                If a colour change, type or length change required please contact us via email to request the standard standard shipping fee of $14.95 express post fee satchel fee is applicable.

All our returns are video recorded upon receipt and while being opened and inspected to verify and substantiate the items returned.

We will not tolerate deliberate attempts to return used, different, tampered with or items not in brand new condition.  In any such cases of deliberate fraudulent activity of such will result in the item being returned to sender at the senders own expense and such person (s) will be reported to the financial institution of the original transaction.  Video proof of the returned packages being opened with its contents dispalyed are always recorded for our records.

Refunds are not applicable due to change of mind, choosing the wrong colour/texture/ length or attachment selection or have decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it, or for any other reason the item may be unsuitable, however, we will gladly exchange the item. Packages showing delivered online notifications are considered final, if a customer disputes an item marked as  delivered, by Australia Post or Courier it will not be refunded or replaced.

Any item returned which is not an authentic item sold by Pure, or that which has been used, tampered with or had the bindings removed will be returned to sender at their own cost. 

Products can not be returned or exchanged once the gold/silver/ plastic or other bindings used to the hair together has been used.

We are governed by Australian hygiene laws which we abide strictly to. We do not make exceptions under any circumstance on unauthorised / opened or used items.  In any such circumstances they will be returned to sender, at their own expense. 

Should an item be authorised for a refund, the return of a  product for a refund for any other reason at our discretion we will accept the item back within 30 days less shipping.

All hair extensions sold are upon the assumption, they will be applied by a professional, who has been trained and certified in the chosen hair extension method purchased to be applied, and who has followed a known standard pre-application and application system and has read and followed the pre-application and application instructions on this site. Maintenance and care.

Order Cancellation request:

Should a request to cancel an order be made prior to dispatch, this will be done so by providing a credit note for the full order value.  This can be used within 30 days.

If a cancellation is requested after dispatch, once the order is returned to us we can provide an exchange if you know what you would like to change at the time or a credit note, which can also be used within 30 days.

Refunds are applicable in the circumstance of a proven faulty product and must be verified by our technician (s).  All products are tested for quality assurance so it is unlikely an item will be deemed faulty.  

If a refund is requested and applied for any other reason outside our terms and conditions of sale and at our discretion a 40-50% fee will apply to cover non-refundable transaction, time & handling.  Any refund granted is less shipping fees.

We do not cancel orders, however we will gladly exchange or apply a credit note to be used within 30 days.

Custom colours & Lengths:

Very long lengths of 28" up and especially made custom shades which are custom created for the individual are non refundable and non exchangeable.

International Orders:

International orders may be subject to custom fees, these are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Shipping can take longer or shorter than the average times as per outlined on our website depending on a number of factors, such as unexpected weather events, customs back-log, flight delays etc.  We take no responsibly for shipping delays once sent. 

If an order is sent to the correct address and is returned for any reason we will refund your order less shipping fee charged (cost to us which may be higher than standard shipping fee ) plus 15% transaction + restock fee.
